The purpose of this assignment is to:
(i) Build on the evaluation of your stress management practices from Assignment 1
(ii) Develop an action plan to enhance your resilience approach
(iii) Empower you to continue to grow your resilience
Step 1: Critical review of current strategies in place to manage stress for yourself and your team (c. 1000 words)
Drawing on your analysis of stressors and stress reactions in Assignment 1, build your evaluation by examining your current techniques used to manage stress (they may or may not be sustainable in nature). If applicable, categorise your strategies using the resilience factor typology (e.g. direct – perceptions, skills, environment; lifestyle – social, personality, physiology).
Use the following questions to prompt your critical review:
Perception: What attitude is prevalent during difficult situations??
Skills: What skills are available to relax and manage stress?
Social: How connections and interactions with people change the experience of stress??
Physiological: How physical health is currently sustained?
Personality: Which personality traits are predominant during challenging situations?

Create an action plan to help you build your resilience approach and enable you to keep progress on your growing resilience:
(i) Identify which resilience factor types would help you to improve your current response to stress, and the strategies you want to introduce into your routine. Focus on no more than four (4) strategies to develop either your direct, lifestyle, and other resilience factors.
(ii) Help systems
Resilience involves acknowledging our interdependence on each other. With this in mind, determine your current sources of help available by identifying who from friends, family, work colleagues, associates, mentors or services you can reach out to can provide help.
(iii) Mindset and implementation
Explain how you will commit to and implement the chosen strategies and justify your choices.?
(iv) Progress measures
Propose methods to measure your success and progress. For example, you can list new behaviours that you would like to practice in the next month, the next three months, and the next six months and also work out how you will track changes/success in adoption.
