Assessment 3: Critical Analysis (50%) – 2500 words . Due Week 12. In this assignment, you are required to introduce a conflict situation that occurred within your workplace and provide a critical analysis of the situation including the conflict resolution process and the following elements: 
1. Brief description of the event that led or resulted in the conflict situation; 
2. Describe your position in the institution/ward/workplace (eg. Student Nurse, RN, Charge Nurse, Nursing Unit Manager); 3. Describe your role within the conflict situation (observer, initiator, recipient, support person etc); 4. Discuss the measures that were applied to seek immediate resolution; 5. Describe the steps of the conflict resolution process; 
6. Analyse and discuss how the conflict resolution processes were/were not employed in this conflict situation; 
7. Discuss the outcome/s for the patient (s) and/or staff; 
8. Explore the change/s that took place, as a result, to eliminate the probability for a similar event to arise; and 
9. Provide recommendations for improving the outcomes and/or preventing a similar situation from occurring again. 
Assessment criteria 
Select a minimum of 15 articles from scholarly literature (primary sources) that provide the strongest evidence for your topic. Your articles must be 5_ 7 years old.

• Secondary sources such as information cited from unreliable websites, blog sites, pamphlets or magazines is not acceptable for this paper.
