 You are required to create a fundraising portfolio brochure that can be used for students to run their own events. The brochure is a step by step guide on how to run a successful fundraising project. Each project team member will be responsible for completing a section of the brochure as well as contributing towards the overall finished piece. You should select a hypothetical fundraising event as the focus of the brochure. Please agree this with your tutor before commencing the assignment.

Assessment Criteria:

 Show evidence of structuring the collaborative project and allocating tasks to team members. The finished content of the portfolio will vary between project teams, but it is expected that each brochure will have a section on; o researching fundraising ideas

o financing the event

o marketing the event

o project management of the event.

o Other content will include an introduction, a section on how you allocated tasks, a project timeline including the event itself and a conclusion. Please remember that part of the mark for this assessment is based on the finished portfolio, it is important that we can see how you allocated the project tasks

• Identify methods for assessing internal and situations (Environmental analysis). This should run through the portfolio.
•  Show clear evidence and research for your ideas How have you acquired the information? Where is the evidence?
•  Produce a professional looking fundraising electronic-brochure suitable for distribution around campus (4000 words +/- 10%) We would like you to produce the brochure using MS Sway. You will be provided with a skills session on how to use SWAY. We expect that for your individual page you write between 600-750 words The remaining wordcount is to be used for the other sections
•  Use appropriate referencing and provide a minimum of 8 academic/relevant references
