In this assignment, you will create a dynamic model of a system of your own choice. You are then to build both an attractive and useful model interface, as well as one or two case studies/scenarios, to allow a user (with no prior knowledge of Stella) to explore your model simulation, as well as an interactive story to fully explain the model to the user. For your topic, you may choose anything of interest to you. It does not have to be connected to your main PROD690 or PROD680 project (although a relevant model may be useful). 3. Facilitating the uptake of electric bikes in a typical New Zealand city a. Imagine you have developed such a product, which you now want to get into the market. This might involve potential purchases, the Bass diffusion, effects of marketing and social media, relative costs, production capacity/supply chain, and local government policy changes around provision of cycle tracks, secure parking (with or without charging?), relative pricing of public transport as an alternative.
