This CA requires you to work in pairs and is based on the following scenario:

Scenario

You have been asked to prepare a section of an online English course for 1st Year Undergraduates in a law faculty. This course will be for students in UTEL benchmark 5. The section of the course you design will be for 4 weeks and focuses on developing essay writing skills. The course will comprise the following: 4 one-hour synchronous online sessions (Zoom) and the use of an LMS/VLE (Google Classroom) where they are to spend approximately 4 hours on asynchronous activities during the month. For your CA you should, in a pair present:

1. An activity schedule for the 1 month the course is to run.

2. The detailed session plan for 1 of the synchronous online sessions and that week’s asynchronous work.

3. Present all activities set out in 2 above.

4. A justification of the activity schedule and the one week’s work you presented. This is a pair presentation; you will be given 12 minutes to present and 3 minutes to answer questions. Both members of the pair must present.
