Lokavidu is a start-up photography business established in 2018 in the CBD and around Melbourne Victoria, Australia. Lokavidu offers high quality photographic services to primary schools, secondary schools, and dance schools. Lokavidu is co-owned and managed by two business partners Mick Chacko (CEO/CTO) and Lyn Markus (CMO). They
have three photo studios in different suburbans, but all the studios are under their overall business vision and management. Each photo studio develops their own client base including local schools and dance schools.
Lokavidu has a website to feature their photographic services, a gallery of photos and media news, to provide contact details and an enquiry form, and to interact with their customers. They have a small marketing and sales team to manage the information and interaction through their website and Facebook page. They receive a stable number of orders from local schools. They have a small number of part-time and casual photographers.
The service delivery process can be described as follows. Initially, the client contacts Lokavidu to arrange a photographic service for their school. The client is usually asked to fill in an initial enquiry form to provide them with information including school information, specific service request, and contact details. Lokavidu will assign a consultant from their marketing and sales team to work closely with the client to arrange a photographic service, for example in terms of types of photos, for whom, date, time, location, and any specific needs. The consultant will discuss with the client to prepare a service contract and cost the professional photo and video services for special events at primary/secondary schools and dance schools. All photos and video products are stored in the Cloud using the Microsoft (OneDrive) service for business. For primary and secondary school photos and videos, parents will be contacted by the school to advise them how to receive and select the photos/videos and pay for the selected photos or video products. Lokavidu welcomes comments and suggestions from schools and parents.
After two years since the launch, Lokavidu is at a stage of growth. They would like to review and explore a viable technology solution (for example Cloud platform with
different portals) to be sustainable and completive in the market, to improve theirservices and products, improve photo and video service delivery and payment process to increase their clients’, parents’ and students’ experience and satisfaction, increase operational efficiency, receive reviews and promote their brand and reputation.

Your mission is to develop a business technology proposal to add strategic and or operational value to Lokavidu. You are requested by Mick Chacko and Lyn Markus toreview their situation, propose a technology strategic proposal, and provide advice on the following specific questions:
• Should Lokavidu continue to use existing web site, Facebook and Microsoft (OneDrive) to support their growing photographic services?
• If not, what digital platform should they use? Would it be feasible and worthwhile, how and why?
