On the day of the excursion, Wei and Izzy arrive at the venue, Escapes-R-Us. Celt is the manager on duty at Escape-R-Us on the day. It is a busy day and Celt is short staffed. He asks Roma, a new employee to sign Wei and Izzy in. She gives them a consent form to sign. This form includes the following conditions:

(c) evaluate the chances of success for each potential action.

Question 5

Flynn and Josie run a social media start-up company operating out of a large commercial warehouse near the corner of Crown and Devonshire Streets, Surry Hills in Sydney. They have decided to hold a festival of new music and theatre, ‘HillsFest’ on Saturday 7 March which they will promote via their social media platforms. There is no advertising in the print or mainstream press. Their warehouse premises have the capacity to hold 1250 people. They have also negotiated with the owner of The Hoptown, a pub in Surry Hills on the same block as the warehouse, to use their venue specifically for performances by local music bands. The Hoptown and the warehouse both have doors opening on to the same laneway. The Hoptown has a capacity of 1000 people. No alcohol will be sold at the warehouse. Flynn and Josie issue free tickets using Eventbrite. Because the tickets are free, they estimate that only 50% of the people who buy the tickets will actually attend, so they allow for up to 2500 tickets to be ‘sold’ for the events scheduled to be held at the warehouse, and up to 2000 tickets to be ‘sold’ for the performances at The Hoptown.
