a) Discuss the size of the industry and the level of competition.

b) Identify the regulator/s of the industry. Comment on the extent of the regulator’s power to ensure compliance within the industry.

Company Description

b) What is the capital structure of your selected company?

Financial Instrument Analysis

a) Obtain a copy of your selected company’s 2019 or 2020 Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet) and Statement of Financial Performance (Income Statement) and attach them as appendices with your group report.

b) Based on the financial statements of your selected company, identify the financial instruments. Check the Assets, Liabilities and Equities sections. Also, read through the Notes to the Financial Statements to get a better description of the financial instruments you have identified.

c) Evaluate the cash or liquidity situation of the company and provide an analysis based on the liquidity ratios.
