Identifies and discusses ideas from the research literature that relate to these policies. Explains how such policies help to either promote or inhibit multilingualism and diversity.

4. Identifies the range of formal and informal (defacto) language policies at your chosen education setting based on the criteria you have identified in (2) and (3) above. Explains how such policies help to either promote or inhibit multilingualism and diversity in this educational setting.

5. Argues for how the formal and informal (defacto) language policies of your chosen educational institution might be changed to (further) embrace multilingualism and diversity, and empower individuals to speak and write in particular ways. Once again, in your reflection, consider language as encompassing the written landscape of the classroom/school/institution, the activities that individuals engage in, and the talk that occurs in and out of the classroom context, and the place as a whole. Provide rationales for your proposed initiatives and support these with evidence from the research literature.

6. Closely cites at least 20 academic and/or policy related resources throughout the writing to support your ideas and arguments.
