Purpose of assignment:

Task:
To undertake a full scientific report, communicating and interpreting the results of your experiments during the Residential School.
What you need to do:
• Analyse the data developed during the residential school:

? Your report will need to include ALL the class data developed over the two days (part A, part B, and part C)

• Statistical tests should be employed where appropriate to draw relevant conclusion as to changes observed
• Use Excel (or another appropriate program) to prepare scientific graphs and figures of the data
• Write a scientific report in the form of a full journal article

Your report should be concise but complete. Spread your work out to improve presentation. Examples of the presentation of scientific reports may be found in international scientific journals related to the biomedical sciences.

Introduction:
The introduction should include a brief account of the theory and rationale relevant to the overall theme and the experiments conducted. It should briefly present the results of previous investigators in relevant experiments. This section should end with a clear, simple statement of the aims of the experiments and the information to be gathered. It should also include a hypothesis. These should be in your own words; do not simply copy the notes.
