Developmental analysis allows the educator to determine where the child is at in all areas of development. This provides the educator with a thorough understanding of the child and what his/her learning and developmental needs might be for current and future planning.
For each summary statement you will need to provide root skill(s) that clearly identifies the development observed, a reference point and statement to demonstrate how the two pieces of information compare to each other.
Each summary statement needs to be clearly supported with references to reliable developmental sources for validity. Inferences need to be formatted according to outline from the template provided and lessons readings.
