The purpose of this formative assessment is to encourage you to think about your target group, area of health, the health promotion approach and to make sure you are thinking about the logical flow and links between the annotations that you will use in your summative assessment.
 
 

Assessment: 
 Bulleted sheet and brief annotated bibliography using TWO sources that you intend to use in the extended annotated bibliography (summative assessment). 
 
 

Requirements
 To provide context for your two sources you should firstly provide the following information in a bulleted list:

• A target group whose health you are promoting e.g. Age group, country, etc.
• An area/ topic/ view of health e.g. Nutrition, housing, inequalities etc.
• Your health promotion approach e.g. Education, behavioural, social change etc.

 
The brief bibliography should then present TWO sources that you plan to use in the extended bibliography and describe how the two sources link to one another. PLEASE NOTE – This will be a brief annotated bibliography and your final assessment will need to provide much more detail and critique of each of the sources that you include.
