You are required to choose any ONE (1) public listed company or multinational company or local company with at least more than 100 employees in Malaysia. Using either primary or secondary resources, you are required to research and write a comprehensive report to resolve and answer some the issues below.

1. Does the organization have a formal whistleblowing policy or program?
2. If so, how do they incorporate whistleblowing mechanism into their compliance and ethics program?
3. What is the whistleblowing reporting mechanism? To whom and how to report?
4. How do they communicate the whistleblowing program to their employees?
5. Does the organization have a separate policy to protect whistle-blowers from retaliation?
6. Do they think that it is an effective policy in educating employees on ethical practices and or in improving ethical practices in the organisation? If so how?
7. How does the organisation institutionalise whistleblowing practices in their organisation?
Required:
Part 1:
1) Literature review: Describe FIVE (5) best practices on “whistleblowing program management” based on journals, articles and other secondary resources. Describe the name of the journal, its source, title, author and year. All journals/articles must be after 2015.

Part 2:
2) Introduction of the company.
3) Methodology applied in securing the information required from the company – ie. Interview, secondary resources etc. (recommended method -interview).
4) A comprehensive analytical report detailing the finding from the interview questions suggested above.
5) A comparison report between the best practices described in the literature review and the current practices. Propose THREE (3) improvements or recommendation your group would suggest to the organisation.
6) In your group’s opinion, how good is the whistleblowing program in the stated organisation.
