The business does not necessarily rely entirely on digital marketing. That is, most businesses  exist in both the physical and the digital channel. The report should therefore discuss all  aspects of the business, but the solutions should be focused on the digital aspects of the  marketing plan. When necessary the student should relate how the digital and traditional  marketing complement each other. 
While this is a very practical assignment, students should take advantage of the insight gained  from the academic sources suggested in the unit (both theoretical and empirical). The  practical project report will build more on theories discussed relatively early in the unit (the  lectures by professor Nordfält). Demonstration of students’ understanding of a minimum of  five academic articles is required and should be balanced with equally high-quality  practitioner sources. The student should deliver: 

• • A comprehensive marketing strategy document. The maximum word count is 2,000 (±10%) words. Where a student wishes, producing graphics (e.g., a mock website, app  or video) can be counted toward the overall word count. That is, students wishing, for  instance, to produce a video to be shared on social media can write 500 words instead  that detail the social media platforms, target audiences, directions for sharing the video,  and so forth, and include the video to account for the remaining 1,500 words. 
• Students should focus on creating a clear picture of: 
• • The business idea (including the product/service that is intended be launched)
• • The market need and target audience 
• • The methods intended to reach the target market 
• • Which KPIs that are to be focused on
