Task 1 – Research and Planning of Photoshoots
Before your photoshoot can take place, you will need to research and plan. This is often an over looked aspect of photography production and post-production and often when missed can cause issues further along the production pipeline. The following areas should be researched and planned before shoot:
Concept – You should already have a concept from the Film/TV-Series “Opening Sequence” you created in Assessment 1.
Location – It is extremely important to choose the right location. You can shoot at an outside location or in the studio
Equipment and timing – When booking equipment and studio space, it is important to be prompt and well organised. Lighting plan and execution -You should plan for the lighting equipment and techniques you will need to use.
Task 2- Photoshoot
You are required to shoot Photography in the style appropriate to your film or television series/program.
Your four Photographic images should be comprised of:
1 Portrait (Head Shot/Torso/Full Body/In-Situ)
1 Creative Photography (texture/ abstract/ asset
1 object representatives of the Digital Video Production. (Do not include Actor in Images)
1 environment representatives of the Digital Video Production.
Note: Portrait represents subject/content not shot orientation.

You are required to produce a Contact Sheet for each image subject you take. These contact sheets should be created in photoshop.
Your contact sheets must contain the following:
1 contact sheet showing 16 images of portrait. Plus 1 clearly identified chosen Image
1 contact sheet showing 16 images of Creative Photography. Plus 1 clearly identified chosen Image
1 contact sheets showing 16 images Object. Plus 1 clearly identified chosen Image
1 contact sheets showing 16 images Environment. Plus 1 clearly identified chosen Image
