Assignment Task: PUBH 3002 Step 1: Select a policy document for your document analysis. For example, you may find one of below-listed policies is relevant to your policy project: 
Step 2: Extract data and compile illustrative excerpts from your chosen policy document. This step involves you reading your chosen policy document and extracting data and illustrative excerpts using Table 1 (Appendix 1) in relation to the following five (5) specific criteria: 1. Policy Background 2. Policy Evidence 3. Implementation 4. Monitoring and evaluation 5. Stakeholder engagement Your illustrative excerpts should adequately illustrate the content you summarise in the main content of your assessment, and there should be at least one excerpt related to each of the criteria (or a comment/explanation if the policy document does not address the criteria). Include this data extraction table as an Appendix to your assignment. There is no required word count for the excerpts included in Table 1 and Table 1 will NOT be included in the word count. If including a direct copy of excerpts from the policy please ensure you reference appropriately (i.e., include quotation marks and page numbers). Step 3: Analyse and synthesize the findings from your consideration of the content of the policy. This section makes up the main body of your assessment (Maximum word count 2000 not including title, reference list or Appendix, Table 1) and should include a summary of your policy analysis using the following three sections: 1. Title: Provide an informative title for your health policy document analysis 2. Summary of policy content: Summarise the key findings from your consideration of the content extracted from your selected policy document in Table 1, and attach the illustrative excerpts in Table 1 as an Appendix. 3. Critical consideration of policy strengths and shortfalls: Considering the material you presented in the Policy Context Background Brief, provide a succinct critical consideration of the strengths and shortfalls of the policy in relation to supporting the health needs of people from your selected population group and with your selected health issue. Think critically about the policy and consider questions such as the extent the policy addresses issues for people from your selected population group and health issue; involves stakeholders addressing the social and ecological determinants of health; and considers barriers to accessing relevant services. Include up to ten academic references to support your critical consideration.
