As a result, dementia and the treatment of an increasing dementia population are highly relevant in healthcare providers, nurses, and the society because they need secure and compassionate care while restoring the patient's autonomy. At first, family and friends show compassion and understanding for dementia patients, giving them support and encouragement (Frank & Forbes, 2017). As the illness progresses, the person is far more likely to be ignored and manipulated as a result of their frustration, powerlessness, and depression (McCausland et al., 2016). If the infection advances, the population's ability to engage in everyday tasks declines, raising their dependence on someone else. Patients often suffer violations of autonomy, integrity, and care quality leading to a shortage of community awareness, nurse expertise, and adequate access to health care resources and peers (Ashby-Mitchell et al., 2020).
