Your Term Paper will be a response to one of the following questions. Select the same question that you did research for in your Term Paper Planning assignment.

These are term paper questions for a philosophy course. Therefore, it is essential that relevant philosophical material is used to answer them.

1. Assess whether Rosanna knows that ‘It is 1.00pm’ in the following situation.
It is 1.00pm. Rosanna is in the grocery store. She has no idea what time it is, and wants to find out. She asks another adult if it’s 1.00pm yet. The person replies ‘Yes, it is’, and Rosanna thanks them and walks away. Rosanna now believes the statement ‘It is 1.00pm’. Rosanna doesn’t realize that the person she spoke to did not hear what her question was, and only said ‘Yes, it is’ because they wanted to appear helpful and positive.
2. Assess the extent to which the following analysis is persuasive. If I’m using my senses and I can perceive what appears to be a chair in front of me, then I know for sure that a physical chair exists, it’s in front of me, it contains all of the properties I perceive it to have, and that others will perceive it in exactly the same way that I do.
