Assignment Task:
Students are required to complete an individual written self-reflective essay on their completed role-play. Word count: 1000-1200 words. Students will be provided feedback by their Role Play partner from the role-play feedback form attached to in assessment 4A, and use this information as well your own ideas to write your self-reflection.
The self-reflection must demonstrate the ability to question one’s own biases, stereotypes, preconceptions, and/or assumptions of the client. You must self-reflect on your use of micro-skills, including: active listening skills, questions, reflection of content, reflection of feeling as well as your nonverbal communication skills. Connections between course learning material and your use of practical skills must be made in order to demonstrate knowledge and insight.
Your written essay should include at least 5 (scholarly) journal articles not more than five years old from a search of the database from the library, in addition to any textbook references.
