Assignment Task:

Investigate a notable, controversial or novel real live case problem about a company or in any countries of the Pacific Region. Your chosen case study must be a real national case or situation and must have occurred recently or the last ten years but not more than this time period. It can be a case, a company issue contrary to any law or any issues with the company and partnership law in your country of choice. Describe the background of the case study and the problems it gives rise to. You must provide realistic justifications about why this case study is important to be researched.

Your case study must discuss the solutions proposed to address the issues which arose in the case study. You must discuss the legal implications going forward for the area of company and partnership law I. After your analysis, reflect on your implications, solutions and provide your recommendation(s) as to what you recommend to be done. 

Discuss the relationship the case study problem which gives rise to the use of Company & Partnership Law and involves questions of the law relating to Company & Partnership legal principles in this course. 

You must persuade the benefits of your solutions to the problems and recommendations. 

Analyze the situation, assess the case study’s implications and provide solutions or some concluding way forward. 

Describe the nature of what existed and its relation to any topics of Company and Partnership Law I subject. 

Take particular note that your case study does not have to be a litigation case matter, it can be a case concerning a law reform, legislation issues, controversies which has a relation and or affect company and partnership law, or the latest case precedent by the High Court or Court of Appeal that changes or pertaining to affect the current status quo of company and partnership law. 

You must do the following:

1. Set out your Case Study in alignment with the case study structure set out in pages eight (8) to nine (9) of the LW370/LW470 Assessment Portfolio and in alignment with the marking criteria. 
2. Adhere to the written requirement of font, style, the number of pages required and referencing style.
