Casual employees, whether through an agency or recruited directly for the most part will be recruited as organisational – job fit as short-term employees. Your recruitment plan will reflect how you will determine long term recruitment needs and progressive shift from casual to part time and or full-time work. This will have impact on issues of onboarding, commitment to recruits, probationary period review before commitment, and probably performance management in a semi structured way or not.
