•  Reflect on what you have learned this semester and articulate connections between your research and our course curriculum.
   

Task

For this essay, you must identify and discuss connections between your research and Evicted. You may also include connections to the readings from Unit 1 (i.e. the essays from Money and/or the “Story of OJ” assignment), but that is not required.
Your Reflective Essay should have a brief introduction that includes a thesis statement. The thesis should make a point about the connections between your research and one or more of the ideas you’ve encountered through our readings and discussions this semester. One way to think about the thesis is as an answer to the question How can I sum up everything I’ve learned through my research and reading Evicted?
 
The body paragraphs of the essay should identify and discuss/explain:

•  what you learned from your research
•  how your research connects with examples/topics/ideas we read about in Evicted (and/or Money)

Be sure to include specific examples as opposed to vague references.
