My research focuses on the advantage of activity-based teaching especially LEGO education on child’s cognitive, physical and emotional development. Use of LEGO in teaching promotes child’s cognitive development by nurturing their computational thinking. Working with prototypeassists them on focusing on cause and effect, enabling them to venture out alternative creative possibilities (Pinto-Llorenteet.al., 2016).Using LEGO in teaching process represents constructive approach to education whereby the children construct knowledge and derive meaning through experimentation.This approach assists student-centered approach successful in the twenty-first century. 

Additionally, it develops the child’s physical development; in a digital age where every activity has movedonline, working with physical object helps children’s manifold via improving their gross and fine motor skills, their kinestheticand tactile movement, hand-eye coordination and their sense of depth, distance and speed perception. Lastly, it nourishes emotional development of children; another challenge of digital age is isolation; in a time where everyone is akin to socializing online, managing personal interaction and social etiquette becomes difficult. Therefore, any opportunity to assist children’s soft skills comes as a meritorious learning skill. 

Hence, working with LEGO blocks and interacting with objects and other individuals encourages children toask questions, vocalize their challenges, plan solution, work with others as a group, engage in discussion. In short, use of LEGO education as activity-based learning experience serves as the most appropriate form of skill development amongst the children of digital age. It flourishes their cognitive, physical and emotional development with relevant outcomes.
