The Current Population Survey (CPS) is used to supplement census information between census years. The data file contains 534 observations on 6 variables sampled from the Current Population Survey of 2017 with information on wages and other characteristics of the workers. Detail of variables included in this sample are given as below:

• Work experience
• Sector
• Occupation
• Age

Part A: 

1. Identify the type of each variable and indicate whether it is qualitative or quantitative. If it is quantitative data, indicate whether it is discrete orcontinuous. Otherwise, state the level of measurement.
2. Identify whether the analysis you were considering in this survey is a population or sample. Provide a relevant reason. 
3. Refer to variable Occupational Category. Construct a frequency distribution for the variable and draw an appropriate graph for this variable. Explain by given 2 relevant points. 
4. By using Excel, organize the Age into group frequency distribution.
5. By using Excel, construct a descriptive statistics table for Wages and Number of years of Experience which include the FIRST & THIRD QUARTILES and IQR. 
6. Based on your output in Q(5), explain the following analysis for both variable.

• Identify the independent and dependent variable for the analysis.

• Use Excel to generate a summary output for regression analysis. From the output, determine the regression equation.
