Assignment Task :

This assignment is designed to assess learning outcomes 1-4 (please see the module guide), and accounts for 50% of the overall module mark. 

This assignment requires you to write a 2,250-word original essay that addresses the following task: 

Select a multinational business organization and perform the following analysis: 

1. Describe the background of this business organization.

2. Identify the organization’s strategic frameworks of internationalizing  its business

3. Critically evaluate the impact of economic, political, socio-cultural and legal environments on its business.

4. Analyze the Marketing Mix of this organization. 

You will be expected to refer to academic literature in your essay. This should include the core textbooks, relevant additional reading from the lectures, and your own research using the school library facilities. There is no minimum and maximum amount of literature that you should use. However, you are unlikely to be able to complete this task to a high standard without referring to at least 6 sources. 

In addition, you will need to carry out research on the organization you have chosen to look at. This can use academic sources, but you could also look at online sources, such as BBC News and the Economist. However, please do not rely on Wikipedia, as this is not always a reliable source.
