Task Description There are eight (8) Discussion Forums; seven are related to a learning module and one to an activity module, each of which is worth 5% of your overall mark. Navigation Each forum has been set up in the style of a blog on the LearnJCU subject site under the heading Discussions. Here you will see a title list of the forums for each module; click the title of the forum for the module you have completed to open the blog space, read the instructions/topic overview and click ‘create blog entry’ to make a new entry, or click ‘comment’ to continue the discussion of another person’s entry. Give your new entry a title and then type or copy and paste from a word document into the input box. Please do not link word documents to your entry as this detracts from the discussion format intended in this space. You can explore the other options in the toolbar to embed images, media or files if you wish. Once you click on ‘Post Entry’ your discussion contribution will become available for other students to view and comment on. 
As noted, you are required to make a minimum of two (2) contributions to each forum; these should be relevant and concise (approx. 100 — 150 words) and aim contribute to an interesting and deeply thoughtful online learning environment. Your two contributions may consist of one (1) new `blog entry’ and one (1) `comment’ on another person’s entry, or two (2) ‘comments’ as appropriate to the topic. The intention here is that this online discussion format simulates a classroom discussion between students, rather than a personal diatribe on the topic. You are of course not limited to two contributions and are encouraged to pursue and participate in respectful and interesting dialogue on each forum topic.
