The review should include at least 8 recent, peer-reviewed references on your chosen topic, in addition to some foundational publications on which the work in the area is built.  

Your literature review should present a clear problem statement and discuss existing work that contributes to your area of research, referring to the literature. This analysis should focus on the relevance of the references to the problem you are discussing, rather than focusing on the outcomes as described by the original authors. Publications should be synthesized, compared to and contrasted with each other where appropriate, and their strengths and shortcomings should be identified where it is appropriate to do so.  

Your report should be submitted via the LMS by the due date listed above (and in the subject schedule). It needs to be presented in a professional style, appropriate for a journal or a conference, and be easily readable by someone non-expert in the field. Please use a one column format.
