Part A: Develop a performance management process

In part A of this assessment, you are required to develop a performance management process that supports the business goals of a community sector organization.

To do this, you need to:

1. Analyse the community sector child care strategic plan, as well as a departmental operational plan, to determine the following:

• a) The organization’s vision, mission, and philosophy.
• b) The organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
• c) Each department and team’s strategic goals and objectives.
• d) A gap in the organisation’s performance management framework, i.e. a performance management process that can be developed to help the organisation achieve its goals and objectives.
• e) Any policies that need to be developed further as part of the performance management process.
  

2. Consult with at least one (1) key stakeholder from the organisation about the new process and its features, documenting your discussions.

Part B: Implement and review the performance management process

In part B of this assessment, you are required to obtain feedback from stakeholders on the performance management process developed in part A.

To do this, you need to:

1. Present the performance management process developed in part A to at least one

(1) managerial stakeholder in the organization for review and approval.

2. Implement any feedback and obtain signoff on the process.
