You are the RN/RM on shift in a remote hospital in outback queensland when a patient is brought into the ED. Yasmin is pregnant 8/40 P1G1. She is a farmers wife and their crop caught fire. She was trying to assist in putting the blaze out but is now having difficulty breathing. She has thermal heat burns to her face, neck, hands and upper torso as she was wearing only a singlet top and trousers. You are concerned that you do not have enough bandages and equipment within your clinic. You also do not have a foetal doppler to determine the infants status

Floods

A child aged 6 presents with a low grade fever of 38.5, chills, muscle aches, a rash consisting of small red dots on thier arms and trunk, generalised fatigue, and a headache. They were recently on a family holiday to Cape York during the rainy season. The child is fully vaccinated and otherwise enjoys good health. They come from a happy and supportive home environment.
