Assessment task description
• This is the first (1) assessment task which comprises of seven (7) knowledge questions.
• You must respond to all questions and submit it to your assessor by the due date provided by your assessor.
• Your trainer will proivde you with feedback for this task.

Applicable conditions:
• This knowledge test is untimed and conducted as open book (this means you are able to refer to your textbook or websites to conduct your research).
• You must use computers to answer the questions and answer the questions independently. The trainer/assessor may ask you relevant questions on this assessment task to ensure that this is your own work.
• No marks or grades are allocated for this assessment task. The outcome of the task will be Satisfactory or Not Satisfactory.
• Where your answers are deemed not satisfactory after the first attempt, a resubmission attempt will be allowed.

Purpose of the assessment task
The purpose of this assessment task is to assess your knowledge evidence in these two units of competency which means that you understand the following points and are able to:
• describe facilitation techniques to encourage team development and improvement
• outline organisational policies, plans and procedures for developing teams
• identify career paths and competency standards relevant to the industry.

Assessment will be conducted in a safe classroom environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in the workforce learning and development field of work and include access to:
• office equipment and resources such as computers, internet, Microsoft Office suit, student portal, printer
• learning and development plans, policies and procedures, learner guides
• case studies and, where available, real situations
• interaction with others (colleagues).
