ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS 

The purpose of this assessment is to demonstrate your ability to develop an appropriate induction plan. You will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of recruitment and selection. 

This is a continuation of assessment one where you were asked by the HR Manager to help recruit an Assistant HR Officer for Bluecat Industries. In assessment one you developed interview questions for the role, in assessment two you interviewed and selected a candidate. Now for assessment three you will plan their induction and onboarding. You will also answer some theory questions to demonstrate your knowledge of recruitment, induction and selection.

Induction Plan

Document your induction plan for the new Assistant HR Officer. Include at least three activities within each of the following sections:

• Preparation and Administration
• General Company Induction
• Team Induction

Answer five knowledge short answer questions. Each answer should be around 100 to 200 words.

4. Structured and unstructured interviews are very different techniques within the selection process. Explain the differences in the application of structured and unstructured interviews?
