Option A

Using the given creative brief (Assessment 2), produce an electronic campaign portfolio using WordPress. This will need to consist of a series of 5-6 creative outputs which will explicitly fulfil the brief and chosen concept across a range of media. This will offer solutions to the organisations ‘challenge’ and should include a digital advertisement with audio, suitable for tv broadcast or similar. This artefact should be accompanied by a justification of 1500 words. You will need to include a copy of your creative brief and chosen concept from Assessment 2, for reference.

NOTE: Any image/videos/etc. you use must be cited and referenced properly. Any music taken should be royalty-free

The outputs should include:
-Digital advertisement with audio- One short ad that would be suitable for TV broadcast, social media or similar. This should be no longer than 3-minutes, but the length of the advert should fit with your overall strategy and should be short enough to boost engagement and effectiveness.

– Pick another 4-5 from the following:
 Traditional Media channels- e.g. billboards, radio, magazine ads, etc.
 Digital Media channels– e.g. social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, etc.), blog, online banner ads, etc.
 

Rationale
You will need to justify (with research) your creative outputs as solutions to your brief with a 1,500 rationale. This should include why the chosen outputs work as solutions to your creative brief, the design choices made and how the impact of your solution could be measured (metrics).

Option B

If you would like to enter the D&AD new blood awards, you are able to use one of the competition briefs as a starting point for your creative outputs and then decide on a creative concept to follow. The brief must be approved by your tutor when they are announced and must also fulfil all assessment 3 requirements [above]. In addition to submitting your work to the awards site [details of this will be given in class], you will also still need to submit your finished work to BLACKBOARD, with all 5 creative outputs, 1,500-word rationale, the D&AD competition brief and your chosen concept by 3pm on Tuesday 4 th May 2020. 18 th May 2021
