Task Description:
Construct a response about the documentary Blackfish you watched with your class in which you explicitly discuss the director’s beliefs about the issue the documentary explores, and how they’ve attempted to persuade their audience to adopt a similar perspective.
It could take the form of one of the following options:
– Review presented as a video analysis.
– Panel discussion of theme, in which each student discusses a unique perspective of the film’s construction.
– Script an interview with the film’s director, in which you seek clarification of the film’s themes through questions that present your interpretation of the film.
– Adopt a persona suitable for your class’s documentary, and write a letter to the film’s director in which you critique the filmmaker’s perspective.
