Introduction.

Worldwide, more than 14,000 people die every day because of an accident. Causes of injury include violent acts against others or themselves, vehicular collisions, burn injuries, slips, and poisoning. Although personal injuries have immeasurably affected the people and friends that are often negatively impacted, catastrophic injuries substantially affect these people’s lives.

Injuries and crime have been absent from the public health policy for many years because they are generally predictable and avoidable. Stories from several countries worldwide indicate that striking blows at injury and crime can be accomplished by coordinated campaigns that do not rely solely on the health sector. As part of the international community, governments and civil society must put these proven steps in place and reduce the needless injury and death each day (World Health Organization, 2014, p. 2). 

Household and personal abuse are typical in the majority of murders in Australia. Homicides studied by the Australian Institute of Criminology indicate that the offender-victim relationship is most frequent a domestic living relationship (Bryant & Cussen, 2015, p. 5). According to evidence, Australian Governments have to assess risk factors concerning domestic abuse and legislation. According to human rights treaties, adequate evidence is required to create, finance, implement, or use death prevention strategies (Australian Human Rights Commission, 2016, p. 6).

The characteristics of domestic violence.

There are four ages that both men and women experience intimate relationship abuse: 15 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, and over 65. Current Partner Violence (or romantic Partner Violence) is characterised as violence perpetrated by a current or previous intimate partner. Prior sexual and physical abuse has been described as a self-reported experience of violence. Physical aggression is shown by some touch that could potentially cause harm and shoving, striking, getting stuck, attacking with a fist or a weapon, or dragging someone and subsequently being burned, as well as choking and having a weapon used.
