Mr Richards is a 43-year-old man that has been admitted to the surgical ward where you are currently on placement following an MVA resulting in multiple fractures and a laceration to his left forehead. He has just returned from a surgical procedure to repair his fractured left humerus and tibia and fibula. His current observations are BP 100/75, HR 98, RR 22, Temp 36.7, SpO2 98% on Room air (RA). He is currently drowsy, has an IVT, IDC and wound drain insitu in his Left leg.
