Introduction
Purpose of this research study is to evaluate the issues regarding understanding of consumer behaviour in social media within hospitality industry. Various issues based on effective analysis of customer requirements are also present in the hospitality sector. Henceforth, discussion is done upon the issues and ways to mitigate the consumer behaviour issues in social media for this industry. The selected industry for this proposal is the Hospitality industry of Malaysia, which is eventually facing consumer behaviour issues due to the increased impact of social media (Mahdzar & Gani, 2018).

Research Problem
Social media usage has influenced customer satisfaction rate in different stages associated with searching information and evaluation. Social media has also influenced the decision-making process of consumers in searching and booking hotels. Hospitality and management is required to understand the importance of social media in order to provide better information to the customers. Speed of internet is one of the major factors that brings opportunities to hospitality business. however, lack of technical skills can forbid them to communicate with customers and thus it effects their growth (Kumar, 2015).
