Anti-Parkinson medications (Levadopa
David is a 67-year-old male who has Parkinson’s disease. A neurologist examined David’s condition and according to the Hoehn and Yahr scale, he is at Stage 2, and has the ability to walk independently. He has been diagnosed with the condition for 4 years and has been progressively getting worse. David currently manages his condition with anti-Parkinson medications (Levadopa), and this will not be adjusted with your intervention. Primarily David wants to improve his gait. While his postural control is affected, improvement in David’s gait is a priority.Using the scientific literature design a suitable exercise-based intervention for improving gait in this patient.
