Analogy Analysis
During the workshop a range of analogies where discussed to explore logistics and supply chain fundamentals. In this assessment you’re tasked with evaluating three analogies, one about logistics, one regarding supply chain management and a new one you develop. Choose from the following list for the first two:
• Logistics analogies: firefighter
• Supply chain analogies: chain
Your third analogy can relate to either logistics or supply chain management and any of the concepts from the workshop of wider readings. Perform a critical evaluation of each of the three analogies, identifying the core concepts that each demonstrate and the main flaws that contradict the simile. In total the analysis should be four pages in length, one page for each analogy plus a summary page that compares and contrasts all three analogies.
Provide an analysis table in this final page that summarises the key insights from the analogy review. The following rubric specifies expectations.
